WEEK 18

This semester very hard to me because I knew new subject that help me to reflect and to use my critical thinking to create my own knowledge, also I learned my definitions and concepts about Education, technology, methods, lesson plan and others that are used to teach a target language. Besides, I learned of technology benefits and how to use them in Education. On other hand, I gave me that I need to help in two important skills such as writing because I have a lot of grammar mistake, another is speak I need to improve my oral skill. In conclusion, this semester was the most important to me because I noticed that is very hard to be an excellent English teacher

WEEK 17

In this week I presented my inter disciplinary proyect. This experience was not good for me because when I began to explain the proyect I was very nervous and I could not trasmit my ideas because nerves control me me. Also this situation was more terrible when my teacher began  with the questions and  I do not know what happen me I could not respond the questions . On other the hands this expirences encourge me to follow with my goal that is to be a English teacher and this  situation   changed my mind   because I think that need improve more my skills

WEEK 16

In this week I had an important quiz about web 2.0, this quiz was not difficult, but I confounded some definitions among wikis, delicious, and emodo. Through this quiz I knew if I understood the use of web 2.0. Besides, I started to create my English virtual class in Nicenet.org to create a class virtual is important to know three important points like are goals, integration, and present content, these aspects are important because if I use these aspects  students can develop the activities in a good way without that they feel frustration when they improve their knowledge. In conclusion, nicenet is a platform where teacher and students can share their knowledge and develop activities that help them to improve their skills.                

WEEK 15

   

In this week I knew some important webs 2.0 and they use, through this new knowledge I learned the use and how apply these webs 2.0 in the EFL classroom. As a future English teacher I think that is important to know and the use the web 2.0 as tool in the teaching of a target language. For example I can use the follow webs to share educational information like homework, assignments and extra information between teacher and learners these can be wikis, emodo, nicenet, and k12 lesson and so on. On the other hand, these webs helped me to understand the benefits that to use technology in the teaching and learning process to have a quality education. For example I can use these webs to improve my skills like record my voice and through it I can know if I am pronouncing in the bad way some work. As a result, I consider that all teachers should know these tools and it is possible that applying these webs learners feel more interested  in to learn a new language.    

WEEK 14

  

 In this week I knew some advices for my future life as teacher. These advices will help me in the future as English teacher. For, example, it is important create a good environment in the class because through it students could have more confidence with their teacher and they feel comfortable when they are leaning a second language. Besides, teacher should know some aspects about his or her students such as: what do her or his parents do? And so on. It will permit teacher know the real situation that have students. In addition, it is important that teacher how use these advices in different level for example how acts with preschoolers, student´s elementary, high and university because all are different levels and some causes teacher  will need  very patience person. Then, I participated in a free blog when I wrote about my best day. This blog helped me to understand how important and useful can be the use a blog in the teaching a target language. As a result these aspects are important to keep in my mind because this knowledge could help me in my future life

 

WEEK 13

In this week, I learned the use of a new web 2.0 called prezi. This program helps me to develop presentation or slides, and it is easy for use. This program is focused in Education because this tool is good to use in the teaching and learning of a target language, also prezi can be use online or as a file. Then, I stared with to work with research the information of a new web 2.0 that help me to evaluate the learning process I my future life as teacher. Finally, I read information about blogs. Blog is a learning journal when students and teacher can write some information that they learned and can share with online people.

WEEK 12

   In this week I learned the use the web 2.0. Web 2.0 is a new Web 2.0 is a new social system and innovate which online users become participant through the communication, interacting, or sharing different information with other people. In addition, Web 2.0 is focused in the education because through this the teachers and students can collaborate with their knowledge or information that permits to have a better result in the learning and teaching process such as: google doc, emodo, facebook and so on. Also, I knew the use of cuadernia , this a interesting program that help students to create digital  albums, electronic portfolio and can present videos using this program. Finally, these resources will help me to create new material to present my assignments, portfolios and to use to teach English language the form easily and funny.

WEEK 11

    In this week I listened and presented some demos classes using the technology through these demos classes I did some activities. First, I knew interesting activities and web pages that can be use to teach some topic. For example the used the warm- up permit  to review knowledge that was learned in the past, these activities are perfects for all ages, also I learned the importance the to comply the objective because through this teachers will have good result in the teaching and learning process. Then I present a demo class for kinder garden learner. For me this was difficult because this was not easy to teach fruit using technology. On the other hands I felt comfortable present my demo class my classmate. Finally, I reflected about the demo class as result I need to improve more my oral skill because I did not use adequate grammar to explain my topic.       

WEEK 10

  In this week I gave a quiz about how do a good lesson plan through this I could know if I understood and learned all steps that contain a lesson plan. Then I worked in group, and developed an example of a lesson plan. Finally, I presented the lesson plan, but in the lesson plan did not have well develop the objective for this my teacher helped us to write a good objective. Through it I could recognized the body that have a lesson plan. As a result, all those information encourage me to learn more about the use the technology to benefit my future students and that will be critical people.

  In this week my teacher emphasized the importance of develop a good lesson plan because through it, we can have the better results in the learning and teaching process. Also I saw information and resources about how make a good lesson plan and the steps that we should apply in a lesson plan such as: general information, topic, lesson objectives, materials, activities, assessments and homework. Besides, it is important to know each one of these steps because through these we can comply with all objectives that have a curriculum, and permit a good management of knowledge. In addition I looked some important links about the use and develop the lesson plans, those links contain excellent viewpoints that aid me to make an adequate lesson plan and avoid making some mistakes. Finally, I analyzed the answers about a lesson plan that my teacher borrowed us to analyze. Through it I could recognized the body that have a lesson plan. As a result, all those information encourage me to learn more about the use the technology to benefit my future students and that will be critical people.

WEEK 8

   In this week I learned some point  that should have a lesson plans, also I did some activities that help me to develop and apply my knowledge using the technology. WEEK 7

  In this week I learned how present a good power point presentation and my teacher explain and gave me step to make a good power point presentation too. First, I knew that in power point presentations I should write key work and not all information that I researched or learned. Also is important that the information that I want to present to be important to catch the audience attention, it can be using summary tables. Beside I have that use an appropriative color or graphics because if I use strange colors or striking graphics the audience can decentralize the presentation. Another important point is use animation and transcription to clarify ideas, but if I use a lot of animations my power point presentation, it can seem not serious.  In conclusion, these steps are important to know for teacher and specially for students because through it I can avoid to make these mistakes when I have a presentation and can present important information.

   In this week I received an interesting exposure by my teachers about the use the Internet and some sites web to apply in the teaching process. First, my teacher showed me six important web pages when I can find information about resources for children to develop their skills, lesson plans, listening activities, stories, flash cards and so on. This information can help me in my future life as teacher for can improve listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in my students. Then I learned the use   edmodo   page, this page serve to interact and communication between teachers and students, it is interesting because I can write feedback about educational topics and concerns. Also I knew delicious page, this site is similar that diigo. This page has sites when I can keep my favorites web pages and describe. Finally I discovered a new virtual class that is nicenet through this page I send, receive information, homework, write comments or paragraphs, ect. In addition this page aids me to work with my students using the technology. In conclusion, all this information is very helpful for students and teachers that want to improve and to have an education the quality.      

WEEK 5

  In this week I read important information about UNESCO and the roles that teachers can be able to do, for example, teachers can in describe and explain the software and hardware packet that  have a computer, also they are able  develop  classes funny and interesting  using the technology. Besides I do other important activities. First, I give a short quiz about plagiarism through this quiz I could know if I understood   this topic. Then I presented my diigo account   because In diigo I have   thirty web pages related with teaching and learning of  English language, also I found two interesting   web  pages   http://www.netrover.com/~kingskid/writing/Kids_Writing.html  and  http://www.eslflow.com/speakingandcommunicativeicebreakeractivities.html   that are specially for children, this pages help children to develop their skills with games, songs, worksheets, ect. In addition I created an account in UNESCO this page help me to know how use the technology in the teaching and learning process. Finally M y teacher presented us a important web site   http://www.esl-lab.com/ this page is to improve the listening skill and has important extension such as  listening activities, vocabulary, questions, answer , etc. In conclusion, these activities help me in my future as teacher and student and to be a competent person.  

WEEK 4

In this week I learned how use a new web site called diiigo. Diigo is a social market that keeps and classifies important web sites, images etc, also I did some activities with this web site.  First, I registered in diigo and immediately I began use diigo and created six list about English language skills as listening, speaking, writing, reading, EFL methodology and vocabulary or grammar. Besides I can apply diigo to describe a web site. Then I read a web site that has    important information about ICT and UNESCO. ICT (Information and Communication Tecnology) is new resource that aids the teachers to use the technology to get an education the quality. Also UNESCO wants to can ICT in all school and that learners have access the technology and UNESCO, ICT and teachers want to develop new system in the education to ensure competent people.  In conclusion, I think that diigo is a web site very useful for students and teachers   and ICT permit us to have a better education trough   the technology.

WEEK 3

    In this week I gave a quiz about how evaluating web site. This quiz helped me to know if I understood all information about how evaluating web site, also I developed other activities. First, I read two web page     http://www.pvc.maricopa.edu/researchhelp/plagiarism.html, http://www.plagiarism.org/  about plagiarism. These web pages permitted me to know what plagiarism is. Plagiarism is a form to get information, but copying exactly the author’s ideas, also I learned how avoids plagiarism.  I can use citing it lets me know the original author and their sources and materials. Besides if I want to use some ideas or sources I should apply two important clues as quotes and paraphrases. I use quotes when copying  some information exactly, for example, Joe believes that "life is slow and soft" in the country (Living Easy 288) and I use paraphrase when I borrow a idea, but in my own ideas, for example In the current paper we will be examining responses to a particular type of imposter; the vegetarian who eats meat. We chose this example because the core norm of the vegetarian is very clear (to not eat meat), and violation of the norm is easily recognized.(original)  Hornsey and Jetten (2003) investigated group responses to impostors. For the purposes of their study, the impostors were defined as vegetarians who go against the norm by eating meat. As conclusion, it aids me to know the correct use the author’s ideas, also it    is very useful and helpful to avoid do plagiarism and  I can use in my life as student and my future life as teacher

    In this week I knew some guideline about how I work in the virtual class . First, I registered in the virtual class, also I download my profile it helped my teacher and classmate about my expectations in Internet and Multimedia class .Then I entered for the virtual class, immediately I began to use it. In addition I read an important evaluating web site http://liblearn.osu.edu/tutor/les1/pg2.html this web site let me to know and recognize if a web site has reliable information, also it permitted me to know some important clues. For example I can use Google to see the URL the different blogs, web sites, articles, journals, etc. Also, I can establish what is the mission or purpose of a web site to see some keys such as: about this page site, index site, map site. It could be advocacy, commercial site or reference site, also I can investigate personal information about an author and publisher such as: bibliography, background, degrees or organization, university that belongs and when the information was written or if the information is updated. Besides I research extra information to know more about how evaluating a web site. In this week I knew how I going to work in Internet and Multimedia  class during this semester . Firts, I sent my personal information to web site http://goo.gl/odgKo this website helps me to enter a virtual class, also I created my blogger where I going to put my learning logs, extra information and  commentaries about it class. Second, I read a website about how know if the information from a website is safe and truth . In this website  I learned some important step to recognize a good website, for example If I want to know more information about it. I can see URL and I  learned the meaning of edu, gov mil, etc.Therefore it aids me to apply in my student´s life and my future  teacher´s life.
